The next installment

It was brought to my attention recently that I have not posted to the blog for some time - ok, since May. I promised that over the Thanksgiving weekend, I would rectify that. And here we are, 8:30 pm on Sunday evening. But there's no time like the present!  Here's a quick review of Klara since then (ok, this may have to be a couple of blog posts).

So, the Prues came out in April, which I did report on in the last blog, but here are a couple more photos from our time with them.

We made a trip out to Sunriver, OR (Bend/Mt. Bachelor) and it was glorious. Cool, but sunny. We didn't have Klara's bike seat and helmet, so Mommy rode her a few yards in her bike basket on the bike path.

The spring was lovely in Portland. We got several nice days. Klara loves being outside. We made trips to the park, even the back deck was often sufficient.

As for what we do indoors...



Her indoor amusements are, well, amusing for her parents...




We had two visitors, one from Oma who was our nanny for a couple months - which of course Klara just ate up.

And then one from Uncle Jake and Aunt Becca.

And when we don't have visitors (or even when we do), hiking in the gorge is great.




Especially if you are in to Tai Chi
(or is that just a way to avoid
a saggy diaper?)

 

The Saturday market is hard to beat (at least the quesadillas, water fountains and music).

And don't worry, this isn't the last you've seen of us...
